Staff very friendly. Quality of meals and service. Relaxed atmosphere.
Sound volume on room TV did not adjust. Was not fixed during stay. A lot of stairs to get to room 22.
The staff were professional, helpful and efficient. We chose apartments as we prefer to keep things simple and please ourselves as to when and if we decided to eat in. The apartment was exactly what we wanted it fitted our requirements perfectly and we were well looked after by the invisible room service staff. This was one of the best hotel apartments we have stayed at.
proximity to town centre nice views lovely gardens comfortable beds
the lift problem as in it only went to certain floors
The location was good and the setting was perfect, wonderful seaviews from the dining room. The pool and gardens were great, unfortunately the weather wasn't! The staff were very helpful and pleasant
excellent staff, indoor swimming pool excellent, food and service good, bus stop just outside the hotel.
Staff very friendly and keen to help. Breakfasts good Location good by sea with buses and car parking and access to everything a pleasant hotel
Room small and bed too hard for my back Had thought was booking appartment and it turned out to be double room only . Probably my fault but worth checking if website is clear. Bathroom V. small Chambermaids forgot to replace things Lack of other restaurants nearby to eat at and not have to drive
A gem of a hotel in fantastic position with st Helier easily accessed. Rooms not big but had everything we needed. if stars were awarded for staff helpfulness and friendliness then this hotel would be 5 star. Gardens were beautiful and well looked after and offered a pleasent place to sit after a day of sightseeing.
there was nothing that I didnt like.
Good location across the road from long beach & the sea, with bus stop into St Helier outside & regular service. Staff excellent, friendly & efficient - could not fault. Food good, well presented & freshly cooked in the evening. Breakfast buffet always well stocked. Good indoor pool & pleasant gardens. Everywhere very clean.
Bedroom (standard double) was on the small side as was the bathroom & shower cubicle. Dining tables/seating were close together & a bit cramped. At busy times had to wait for free tables to come available at breakfast if not down early.
The location was very pretty across from the beach. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble. The food was plentiful and the buffet breakfast was constantly replenished, as was your tea and coffee. The rooms were clean and airy. The staff even cleaned the seagull mess from the ourside paths of the building so as people did not tread in it.
Unfortunately we did have a very noisy family above us (we were groundfloor) who seemed to pace the floor in the early hours. This however is no reflection on the hotel, and just one of those things.
Manager went out of his way to ensure we were happy with everything. We stayed in the apartments which were fantastic.
Restaurant staff could be better and more flexible
Staff were very welcoming and really took care of your needs. Leisure facitlities were superb, excellent food and relaxing bar.
Friendly and service minded staff (lack of heating in bathroom was fixed in a few hours), nice garden, quiet location of the apartments (away from the main road). Free parking on site. Apartment fully equipped for self-catering, (e.g preparation of a full English breakfast), heating was adequate for chilly early season. Supermarket within 5 min. walking distance.
The apartment wing is facing northwest, meaning that spring sun on balconies and terraces is a late-afternoon phenomenon. Especially for the westernmost apartments, which were partly shadowed by the main complex. So ask for the high apartment numbers (9-12) if you like afternoon sun (or use the ample common facilities in the garden).
The service and friendliness of the staff, and the food was delicious and varied. The spa was excellent and mostly we had it to ourselves - talk about luxury...
A very involved Hotel Manager and very friendly staff. Some staff were clearly new to the hotel but the more experienced staff kept an eye on them and everyone was very professional and friendly.
first class inside pool, jacuzzi, steam room and gym facilities. excellent breakfast.
room was clean but old fashioned, still using sheet and blanket on bed in room we used, nylon bedspread seen better days, shower facility over bath with shower curtain, large crack in sink,
